My favorite time of the year has arrived yet again. Spring time in New Orleans encompasses all of my favorite things. Sun, warm weather, flowy dresses, festivals, sunnies in every style, midriff’s showing, cucumber & mint in my cocktails, lace & crochet, bright colors, and turbans & head wraps (my current style crush!) are just some of the things that make me happiest around this time… oh yea, and 25 cent mimosas at brunch!
NOLA Fashion Council puts together a street style brunch once a month at Ste. Marie, this Sunday, hosted by The Revival Outpost. It also happened to be the weekend of French Quarter Fest. I had a fun filled day planned so I dressed appropriately for all the festivities without having to go home to change in between, which is quite a hard task for me!
The hosts of the afternoon, the lovely girls of The Revival Outpost, all looked so hip. You can never go wrong with vintage, I say!
Blogging duo Katie and Rachael, of The Elizabeth Chronicles, are dressed for spring perfectly in their vintage inspired floral dress, and sheer tunic with patterned shorts.
I can’t wait to attend the rest of these brunches to come, and am excited to see who all of the hosts will be! But until my next 25 cent mimosa, I have Jazz Fest and all the great fashion, amazing music, and sunshine that goes along with it to look forward to!
